2019 INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Inclusive Leadership Academy

The 2.5 day Inclusive Leadership Academy (ILA) provides participants with increased knowledge of implicit bias, techniques to move their organization toward conscious inclusion, and provide the opportunity to practice using real case scenarios.

By attending the Inclusive Leadership Academy, organizations expand the pool of employees who have increased capability to support associates, leaders, and their organization from implicit bias to conscious inclusion.

 ILA training occurs from Tuesday, September 17th and ends at noon on Thursday, September 19th.  There are limited spots available so if you are interested, register now.

  • This program has been submitted for 15 recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.

THE BUSINESS CASE FOR DIVERSITY

This session highlights the importance of diversity and diversity leadership in organizations. It answers the question "What is diversity?" and reviews current diversity trends that make creating fair and inclusive work environments an economic imperative. It also explains how diversity and diversity initiatives can move beyond compliance and equal employment laws to serve as a source of competitive advantage. At the completion of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Define diversity, equity and inclusion

  • Identify and recall current diversity trends

  • Explain the different ways that diversity may create value in an organization

  • Explain the effect of diversity on organizational culture and financial performance
